We awoke to some flash flooding this morning. Here are our creeks at well above normal levels. Some of the time, most summers, it has even dried up, but not the past couple years. We love, love, love, big, wide creeks, so we enjoy seeing all the water coming through, if only for a little while. Though a few years ago the big floods washed our driveway out at the tile and we had to replace it. Couldn't get in or out, except, we did put 2x4s across and got our van across so we could go somewhere IF we had too. Yeah, probably wasn't a good idea, but our men are safe, and do things slowly, and carefully, so it worked. Whew!
Anyway, wanted you to enjoy a few pics of lots of rain in case you didn't have this today.
It was a good day to sleep in, with the thunder and lightning early this morn; a beautiful way to wake up. God likes to keep us on our toes by not giving too many monotonous days. It would be pretty boring with the same exact weather every single day.
Thank You Father, for the diversity You give.

Crazy summer weather, we were going swimming a bunch and then it got cool and now we keep having storms pop up. I'm a cloud lover (no storms for me, ha) and have been noticing how gorgeous they are. Hope you are all doing good!!! Let's visit again soon or we could go thrifting one day, wouldn't that be fun! Hello to all. Missy
Thanks for commenting Missy! Loving this weather, but I am ready for the real, full Autumn, Fall, the oranges, yellows, browns, cool weather, all of it! I do love the diversity God so graciously gives though.
