Faith Family Farm

Spring is in the Air

"There is an appointed time for everything.
And there is a time for every event under heaven-
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor-
it is the gift of God."
Ecc. 3:1, 2b, 13
Grandchildren working the ground, helping, learning, growing, things, and one another, from a godly grandfather, guiding and continuing on a multi-generational vision of faithfulness.
Potatoes, lettuces, radishes, and onions are sowed to be enjoyed in a few short months of growing and maturing; vegetables and each other.

New, bursting forth from the ground comes God's blessings of a new beginning, a fresh start, in a new year of thanksgiving.

God's Promise

WOW!!! God's promises are so amazing!
Look at the beautiful rainbow He placed in the sky symbolizing His love for us. Genesis 9:8-17. Go. Read. Better yet, read with your family and discuss God's goodness.
Verse 13 states,
"I set my bow in the cloud,
and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth."

Verses 14 and 15 tell us, when God brings a cloud over the earth, and the bow is seen in the cloud,
"I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living
creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood
to destroy all flesh."
What an amazing thought. This bow in the clouds is a reminder for God? Does He need help in remembering? Of course not! He is the Almighty God, who created the heavens and the earth. He comes to help us, to see, to remember, to tell our children, and our children's children, and our children's children's children. His ways are good, His ways are just, His ways are right. How thankful we are to have godly parents and grandparents who desire the best, the God-given best for those He calls His own. Beautiful views of the farm with God's wonderful promise shining overhead. Glorious and beautiful! God's grace continually shines even after the rain.

Jody
