Always Reading...

Hello all!  My blog is officially changed, fixed, up and running again.  Hope you like the changes, and to any of you who were subscribers, you need to subscribe again to receive the posts through email.  I had to rearrange that as well.  If you haven't followed or subscribed, feel free to; the upside is you will receive the posts as I post them and not have to come back again and again to see if anything is new, just a bit easier for you.  Love, love, love to see followers, commenters, well, encouraging comments :) , ok, it's alright if you don't agree with everything, just be nice to me :) .  I do love to hear from you!!!

Ok, so yes, I am still reading, even after posting a while back about ALL the books I have to read.  I love to read, but my concentration level is zero to none and I struggle with getting all I need to accomplished.  So, late, after everyone has gone to bed, then I am able to read, study, take notes, til midnight or 1 or 2 am, depending on how tired I get. : /

As I look at this list, I do recognize that a couple of the books are to be read throughout the year or over and over, and let me just say, for my struggling intellectual ability, Mere Christianity is taking awhile to work through.  Wow, it's intense...and as I read, with any books, I take notes, so it does take additional time, but I need that to help it all soak in.

I read another book or two in between, and will be reading others, as I plod along slowly with these.  Tim Keller's Freedom of Self-Forgetfulness was a great read.  A bit repetitive, but it was very, very good.  I'll let you know what's next...Along with our family worship/devotion time, we are reading through the Bible once again.  This is absolutely the best thing we have ever done, and every.single.time.we learn something new.  Jesus is always revealing more and more of Himself to us, as individuals and as a family.  So wonderful to see what He is doing with us and through us.

"Pray this day Lord, help me to glorify You.  I am all Yours.  Take me and enable me to glorify You now in all that I say, in all that I do, and with all that I have."
(Morning By Morning, Charles H. Spurgeon)

"Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
2 Peter 3:18
