Dying and Waiting

Good Friday, the Death.
                                Burial.
                                           and awaiting the Resurrection.

of our Savior. Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

Our Big Garden is planted over at Poppy's, my Dad's home place.
Being together and working as a family is always fun, not to mention work gets accomplished at a much quicker pace than working alone.

The soil had already been cut, preparing the soil.
Cut as Jesus' body was cut, torn, ripped apart and prepared for His own death,
to save souls, to give life.
Making rows.  Rows which ran down His back. Over His Body. To plant the seeds for the death that must come, before the life.

Jenny fertilized the ground which would give life, new life,
an abundance of growth for the new life to come.

Julia and Grandmomma are planting plants.  Ones that already had died and began a new life.
Water, Living Water, to sustain the new life for the sun, The Son, to shine upon and through.

Jamin planting the seeds for their Death.
                                            Burial.
                                                       Resurrection to come.

Cutting through each stripe...again.

Seeds sown for death.  For life.

Must die, be buried, before life, before
The Resurrection of The Life who saves.

The stripes laid down.
                       Across.  A Cross.

Waiting. Waiting. Waiting for the Third Day.

A Cross - Death

"Accepting the Call"
"And He said to them all,
'If anyone wishes to come after Me,
He must deny himself,
and take up his cross daily and follow Me.'"
Luke 9:23
(original painting-Jenny Dake)

Awaiting the Third Day.
             The Resurrection...

Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.

Always Experiencing Him,
Jody
